A Quiet Life by Ethan Joella

A life-affirming novel about three individuals whose lives intersect in unforeseen ways.

I got this as a Goodreads giveaway and for whatever reason it kept getting pushed to the bottom of my pile until now. I wish I hadn’t waited. I really enjoyed this book about three people each dealing with grief whose stories are interwoven together. It is a very character driven book so it won’t be for everyone but I thought it was beautifully written in a way that made me truly care about these characters. I was rooting that they would overcome their tragedies and be ok. I did need tissues but not for sobbing devastated crying, rather for tears of empathy and understanding. I recommend it and will most likely read more books from this author.
