I liked Olive Kitteridge better and expected this to be similar and it wasn’t. Purposely by the author. But disappointing to me. I felt like the writing was too simplistic and there really was no developed plot. Just a story of one woman’s unextraordinary life. But I guess I’m in the minority since it got its own Broadway show. It is a short book and quick read, giving it an extra star from me.
