Needless Street Cover

This is the story of a serial killer. A stolen child. Revenge. Death. And an ordinary house at the end of an ordinary street. All these things are true. And yet they are all lies...

There are a lot of mixed reviews about this book. I think that’s because people expected a traditional horror / serial killer story. I know I was. I was put off by a “thinking” cat that reads the Bible in the beginning. I am not a fantasy lover and it irritated me. I spent the first half of the book thinking it was another “booktok done me wrong”. But then you realize that nothing is what it seems and it’s not really a traditional horror book. It’s a book about struggles and survival- with horror sprinkled in. Horror is not the main story. When you realize that you really start to understand the story. In the end I really cared for the characters and will remember them. As long as you don't buy into the jacket quotes and leave yourself open to it not being what is considered true horror, you will like it.
