When the police started asking questions, Jean Taylor turned into a different woman. One who enabled her and her husband to carry on, when more bad things began to happen.

The book started out a little slow but then picked up about 1/4 way and got my attention. I kept thinking I knew what the twist was and was expecting something dramatic so I kept reading. But the end wasn’t a huge shocking moment. Instead it was haunting psychological conclusion that left me feeling disturbed. Actually, the description on the jacket is not accurate. Did they read the same book? I still liked it - even though I kept picturing an older couple instead of 40 year olds. Do 40 year old talk like that in London?
