The Alice Network cover

In this enthralling novel from New York Times bestselling author Kate Quinn, two women—a female spy recruited to the real-life Alice Network in France during World War I and an unconventional American socialite searching for her cousin in 1947—are brought together in a mesmerizing story of courage and redemption.

What an amazing book about women kicking ass! I loved the suspense, the thrills, the intrigue of spying. Historical fiction facinates me and I found myself reading about the characters that were real people. Knowing much of the story actually happened made the book so much more heartbreaking. But unlike other World War books I have read, it was told in an exciting way that made me wish I knew the women - instead of being depressing and soul sucking like others. Let's face it, it isn't a pretty subject. But a subject that needs to be talked about. I am so happy these women's stories were told.
